A little bit about Camilo
Camilo is a premier producer of Australian extra virgin olive oil and artisan food products.
The Camilo Olive farm is located in the rolling hills of south-west Victoria.
Founded in 2002 by Joan & Peter McGovern, when they planted their first olive trees on the flat plains between the reserve and the river valley. The grove quickly expanded to 12 hectares of Taggiasca, Koroneiki, Pendolino, Kalamata and Corregiola trees. The location provides a great climate, position and soil for growing premium quality olives.
The cool climate environment of the region means Camilo olives enjoy maximum sunshine and a prolonged ripening period, producing the highest quality extra virgin olive oils.
Camilo Olives, now owned and operated by the Corbet family, continues the Camilo tradition by striving to produce the highest quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Olive Products.
The olives are processed on-site, strictly following the standards for ultra premium extra virgin olive oil.
Since its first planting of olives, Camilo’s product line has expanded beyond extra virgin olive oil to include award-winning infused oils, table olives, olive preserves and olive seasoning salts.
Year after year, Camilo’s olive oils and artisan products consistently win awards in national and international competitions. Camilo’s products can be found in specialty retail stores and fine restaurants in Australia, Japan, Taiwan and Canada.
