Visit from Japanese importer during the olive harvest
During the 2015 harvest season we were delighted to have a visit from Japanese importer Yumiko Inada, from Kozato Kizai. Ms Inada is an olive oil sommelier and Kozato Kizai imports Camilo's extra virgin olive oils and infused extra virgin olive oils and other gourmet products. We were pleased to be able to host Ms Inada and show her our oil extraction processes and the grove. It is busy time during harvest and we much appreciated her help in the processing shed. Our dog Max, the grove supervisor, enjoyed showing Ms Inada around the property.
Taiwan olive oil importer visits too
The harvest was over but it didn't stop our Taiwan importer, Andrew Low, of Australian and NZ Organics Co., Ltd, from dropping in to say hello and view our facilities. Pictured with Joan McGovern and Max the boxer, Andrew, is an Australian who imports Camilo's extra virgin olive oils and sells through his brand Tulloch Foods. He has become very knowledgeable about olive oils and their characteristics and flavour profiles and he is a big fan of Australian oils.
